Jason Farago is a critic at large for The New York Times. He also co-founded and edited Even, a magazine devoted to long-form criticism, and was a correspondent for The Guardian, first as a political columnist and later as an art critic. He was also a regular contributor to The New Yorker, Artforum, and the BBC. He studied art history at Yale University and at the Courtauld Institute of Art in London.
