Stacy Pratt

Stacy Pratt

Stacy Pratt is an enrolled citizen of the Mvskoke (Creek) Nation. She is a poet, art writer, and book reviewer, specializing in Indigenous arts. She holds a B.A. in English from Northeastern State University (Tahlequah, Oklahoma), M.A. in literature from the University of Arkansas, and Ph.D. in creative writing from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is a regular contributor to First American Art Magazine and has written interpretive texts and catalog essays for numerous Indigenous art exhibitions. She received a 2022 Rabkin Prize and a 2023 Andy Warhol Foundation Arts Writing Grant. Stacy is also the lead singer of the Tulsa, Oklahoma, metal band Everything That Kills.
